THE ROLE

 

As a Market Strategy & Planning Manager, you will be fully responsible for a multi million pound portfolio of brands across key categories distributed throughout multiple retail channels.

You will be charged with reviewing brand performance, providing key insights on change and identifying areas to address on a short and long term perspective. You will help create and embed planning framework for the marketing plan to cover core brands as well as NPD; to include gap analysis, promotional proposals and analysis, range prioritization.

A highly strategic role, the Market Strategy & Planning Manager will represent the sales team on Budget and quarterly forecasts with performance insights, challenges and gaps to address.

  Align grocery category principles across speciality food and convenience channels.As Category partners you will work across range reviews, promotional planning, advise on pricing and new product launches as well as support on ad hoc retail specific projects.Responsible for developing and sharing best practice merchandising and activation programmes in store. 

 

 

THE PERSON

  Customer marketing experience, ideally in a branded environment.Good interpersonal, relationship building and relationship skillsGood analytical, planning and project management skills.Knowledge/ experience of trade marketing disciplines and approaches, and development of promotional merchandise and POS materials.
