THE ROLE
Corporate Business Development Manager/Sales Manager/ New Business
£37,000 - £45,000 Basic Salary, 50% Commission, excellent benefits including Final Salary Pension
This is an exciting opportunity for a proven New Business Development Manager to forge a career with one of the worlds most respected organisations. Armed with the full range of contract hire and fleet management solutions you will be tasked with developing business within the corporate market.
The company works hard behind the scenes in order to provide their sales team with plenty of qualified leads. You will also be expected to generate your own leads via referral by networking industry associations and governing bodies on your area.
The sales process will be a mixture of short and long order cycles and will be won by combining tender and RFIs with strong negotiating skills. You will be supported by an in house tender and pricing team in order for you to maximise time spent developing prospects. Ongoing training will be provided as our client considers its people their strongest asset.

THE PERSON
Essential:
Demonstrable track record in winning and converting new business opportunities.
A natural ability in researching, identifying and delivering profitable business in the corporate sector
Proven ability to negotiate, influence and develop relationships at board/senior level within an organisation.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
A consultative approach to sales with the ability to add value to the customer throughout a sales process
Strong communication and presentation skills
Self motivated, ambitious, energised & tenacious
Experience in putting together engaging tender responses

Desired
Understanding of the vehicle leasing and Fleet management industry
Previous experience in selling contract hire solutions to fleets in excess of 100 vehicles
